Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit

Summary

In 2020 the Unit renewed the electronics and the autosampler of the 500MHz spectrometer. This upgrade was possible thanks to the 2018 Ministerio call for equipment acquisition.

The NMR time used was less than in the previous years, probably due to the decrease of activity during COVID-19 pandemic.

The rate of automation time vs manual time was a bit in favor of automation. In 2020, around 15% of the time is used in manual mode.
